Baker:  About Me

I'll talk about anything.  I overshare.  I have advice and opinions about everything.  Why should you ask me for advice?

Read about me.  Maybe you will identify or sympathize or wonder . . . & if that happens, ask away!  Maybe you are just curious then ask away.  Maybe you need advice from someone on the outside of your situation, ask away!  Maybe you want to stump me and challenge me  . . .DON'T.  Just kidding.  Go ahead, ask away!  I'm never afraid to admit I don't know something.

So, for those who want to know. . .who is BAKER?  Keep reading.

I'm a daughter. I'm a mother.  I'm a wife. I'm a sister.  I'm a friend

I'm fiercely loyal to those I love & care about.

I believe family comes first.  I believe in love

Love comes in many forms, but the amazing thing about love is that it's always beautiful.

I am an actress.  I'm dramatic, passionate, creative, and loud.

When I was young, I was painfully shy.  When I was in 8th grade, I decided that I needed to overcome my fears and learn to be more outgoing, so I signed up to take theatre as my elective in school.  My middle school teacher, Mrs. Magill introduced me to the world and family of theatre.  I continued with theatre in high school - and learned from the amazing Steve Bradley, college, and even graduate school.

Theatre gave me a place to belong. A place to experiment, fail, play, and succeed.

I am a teacher.  I am a co-worker.  I am a team player and innovator. I am a lover of the fine arts. I am a learner.  I care deeply about my students and who they are as people.  I aim to teach them not only the craft of acting but also life long skills that come with it:  communication, cooperation, confidence, creativity, and more.
